Clayton Memorial UUC is off Interstate 26 about 40 miles northwest of Columbia, the state capitol. In other words, about half way between Columbia and Greenville or Spartanburg. Our address: 344 Clayton Memorial Church Road Incidentally, we're about 2 hours from Asheville NC, 2 hours from Charlotte, 3 hours from Charleston, and 4 hours from Atlanta. Directions to Clayton Memorial
From Columbia: Interstate 26 West toward Greenville & Spartanburg
From I-20 and I-26 junction, drive approximately 31 miles to Exit 76, SC Highway 219, and exit. (Hint: Watch for the Pomaria-Prosperity exit, Rt 773. Highway 219 will be the next exit.)
On exit from I-26, turn right. About 1 mile from I-26, turn right on Clayton Memorial
Church Road. (Hint: Watch for Halfacre Road, also on the right. Clayton
Memorial Church Road is the next road on the right, approx. ¼ mile.)
You’ll see the church sign, blue & white, next to Rt. 219 at the foot of the hill below the church. Turn right onto Clayton Memorial Church Rd. and park either at the front or the back of the church. (The back of the church is toward 219.)
